Nice bow Acker - and that pear wood looks fantastic.
-
Vey nice job on that bow. Bloodwood and massaranduba are two very different woods. Beefwood is the same as massaranduba.
-
very different , i love the lines ! good job
-
Man I love that gnarly piece of pear wood as a handle!
Great job, looks good!

That's got some smooth, sexy lines. Nice wood combonation.

Beautiful Bow! Very graceful lines. And thanks for the clarification Badger, I almost went out and picked up the bloodwood I saw at the wood store.
-
Wow, awesome bow. Love the rustic look of the handle, definitely sets it apart. Congrats.
-
Nice bow Acker; tiller looks good!
What's the dye you used for the boo?
-
Visually stunning and with a great tiller nakes it a winner :)
-
Very nice! You've got to be proud of this one. Bookmarked, too, for April Laminate Bow of the Month
-
Gorgeous bow! I love the pear wood on the handle. Nice job!
-
sweet lookin bow, i love blood wood.
is it just me or does the bottom limb look like the tip has less flip than the top in the braced pic, i see it in the full draw too, the bottom looks more elliptical and the top limb appears to have a sharper string angle.
Correct me if im wrong plz. and if this was intentional does it serve any specific purpose? Ty

Beautiful bow!

@ all : Thank you :)
@Badger: thank you , I changed it to beefwood.
@Frank : hm , the dye is " Nußbaum dunkel " I think its from clou., whipped with steel wool and then i sprayed a clear varnish over it .
@Aries: No , you have good eyes :) you ´re right there. I did a bit of scraping on the top limb allready , but only a little bit. The top limb is 1,5 " longer .
@old bow: thank you :)

Bulletwood is the other proably most common name it goes by. I couldn't think of that yesterday. Steve
