Just getting back to bows after cataract surgery. The fore bow is a little Hickory backed Osage 60" 34# at 26". The next one is Hickory backed Hickory 68" 52# at 28", the next is Boo backed Hickory 64" 45# at 28 " ebonized, The next two are BBI with the overlays just glued on. I'll get some braced and drawn shots as soon as the finishes are done. Good to get back to work.

El, that's my target. It's a half a 50 gal plastic drum stuffed with your basic plastic bags and rubber mat material they use for horses stalls. Works great.

Black alcohol based aniline dye first and matt black spray lacquer to get it really dark. I hit the nodes with a little red paint also.

Red and black together are Veteran's colors in most Native American circles.
