Hi,
This is at HatchA. There is a bison farm in the UK, that sell skins I will try and find my link to it the price's are good.

Here is a link to buffalo ranches in Illnois. There used to be ranches in the Georgetown and Farmer City areas also, but they are not on the list, so may no longer be in operation.

NO LINKS...... please ;D

If I tanned the buff with the hair on it might provide enough padding to save my leg. :o

Google Moscow Hide and Leather,
they are in Moscow, Idaho, great selection and competitive,
-
Moscow Hide and Fur is where I get mine... Do not use Elk if you plan on wearing your Mocs outside... They WILL stretch out... Believe me

An easy and not expensive source of tanned buffalo leather is ebay. You can buy big pieces ' Frank
-
One I forgot, google Trapline Lodges, I am picking up a half buffalo rawhide in 2 weeks from him,
he makes great looking tipis and a lot of brain tanned hides. Good prices for hand done stuff.
Most of my stuff has come from him and Moscow Hide and Leather.

Check out EBAY there is a guy selling it dirt cheap type in flintknapping and it should come up! Nice looking stuff!

There is a Buffalo farm near Erie here in PA called Wooden Nickle. They sell green hides for $50 so you would have to tann them, but thats half the fun.
