Title: side noks and limb twist
Post by: bowkee on April 03, 2010, 03:07:42 pm
I have made a few bows with side noks I CUT 1/3 OF THE TIP ON EACH OPPOSING SIDE. I was wondering what your thoughts on limb twist from doing this.
I guess I would call them pin noks on the sides.
I seem to get less paradox when I cut the noks like this.

I do side nocks fairly often because I feel they take less space than traditional pin or side nocks.  As for limbs twisting and or less arrow paradox, I really haven't noticed any difference but I've never been very observant.
