I been on a flint knapping trek for a bit and decided to make a couple bows one a flat bow the other a holmie... they are not finished I have a hard time finishing what I start but will get around to it someday. I am so busy with other stuff I have a pile of unfinished bows I just might have to give them to a good home... ;) ;)
Cheers,
Russ

Oh by the way the Holmegaard is just a roughed out maple bow hand split from a 20" hard maple the flat bow is made from the same maple with cherry for a handle...Thanks guys!!!

Nice stuff..
If you have some started you can give it to a first timer to help them take that first step toward our common obsession. ;D , you both will get a sense of accomplishment.

I like to make bows too much, I would be more likely to finish it and give it away. ;)
