i have my bow and i tillering it and i have tillered it enough but it still need to be more bendable because i want to use like 110 pound pull back i need some ways to bend it more steam? i don't know please help
-
Chriss, 110 pull is a bit much for your first bow. How tall are you and how much do you weigh?
-
??? ???
If you can't pull it, it ain't tillered enough, by definition. If you could post some pics it would be helpful. And why in the world do you need a 110 lb bow? Most of us hunt big game with 50-60 lb bows. Fred Bear killed elephants with bows pulling much less than that.

i ment i don't want it to be 110 pound that would be crazy i want it like 10 or 15 or maybe less i just need it more bendy
-
Then you need to keep taking wood off until it bends evenly and is the draw weight you want. If the limbs are bending evenly, slowly take wood off with a scraper evenly on both limbs until you have the weight where you want it.

how can i tell if they are bending evenly this is my first bow and it is red oak
-
if both limbs bend the same amount they are bending evenly

Chriss - are you using a tillering tree? If so, post a picture of your bow on the tree begin held in a drawn position. That way folks can look at it and tell you better what the next step is...
