Hi all,
I was just wondering if there was a formula or some simple way to determine what the weight of your field points should be. I'm sure there's probably a resource out there somewhere, but I haven't found it just yet. Can anyone help? Thanks!

125 grains is pretty much standard. If you have some arrows that are spined a bit stiff for your bow, you can correct it by using heavier points.

Ok, that's a great starting point. I currently have a small set of 100grain tips, would the opposite be true if I had shafts that were underspined? Thanks.

Honestly, I spine for the quiet spot, then figure I'll average a 160 gr. hunting head.
After it's sharpened a couple of times,,,, I end up with about 145 grs. So my targets are 145 gr.
Don't know about any formula. I advocate the higher FOC anyways. Basicly, it just "works for me". ;D
