Man!, I'd die for some good ol' BBQ chicken or ribs right now. Heck, even a Tecate would be good. ;D
-
Looks like a bunch of rednecks havin fun to me ;D
Breakin the charcoal grill out today, all the snow is melted so its time, gonna cook up some chicken thighs don't care for white meat :)
-
eddie, tell ya what
if you ever make it up here,i'll make you what my neighbors call "tims killer chicken"
i think they call it that becuase one time i was grilling for us and all the neighbors
when one of of them smelled the chicken and came running across the road and got hit by a truck and died lol
naw thats just a joke, but they all do come over to see what i am grilling when they smell it.
i have even worked out trades with a couple of the neighbors
they put in my new furnace exhaust pipe from the basement thru the roof.
all i had to do was pay for the pipe and grill for them.but i was nice and even bought beer for them ;D
yup Dana,im thinking the same thing too.except i'll use my gas grill
the charcoal grill has been retired adn giving the honor of being my pitch making, blade tempering unit now ;D
-
I ain't stopped Grillin all Winter long....there is no need to do without...no matter what the outside temperatures are...I grilled in 30 below...I grill at 115 above...just have to add more Coals....and the K-Wool Insulating Blanket from Work for keeping Welds Warm as they cool slowly....don't hurt either....... ;D....I don't do without my Grilled Chicken...Ribs....and Venison...... ;)
-
Tim theres no comparison between charcoal and gas, go back to the charcoal eh ;)
Couple years ago while grilling chicken I burnt the neighbors house and garage down :o It was vacant and starting to fall apart
and needed to go >:D ;D True story guys and I own the lot now :) They got a nice fat insurance check and I got the lot worked out quite nicely :)

Skyarrow, thanks for sharing. Looks like you've got life figured out with the fellowship, food and flintknapping- doesn't get much better than that!

I've got to go to bed earlier, and stop reading these posts about food! It is two thirty nine in the morning, and I don't need to be cooking bar b que'd chicken drum sticks, at this time. Well I know what I am going to have with my field peas tomorrow. Yard Bird!! Yeah, Dana M, I am like you , I don't care for white meat, it is too dry, and not as much flavor as the dark meat, I like thighs, legs, and wings. Mmmmmm, Eddie...... when you gettin home? ::) Skyarrow, looks like you got a nice roof, on, and had a great meal, and good time. That flint knapping gets to ya. ;) You will get it. I have slowly advanced a bit at a time. Still can't get them real thin, but better than I used to. I still can't run flakes like Shannon, Bone Pile, Jesse,Jamie, Cowboy, and others on here. I have improved on percussion flaking though. I just need to stop patting myself on the back and trying to see how far I can go with it, and start pressure knapping when I know I should. Ruined a couple nice pieces of Obsidian.
