Title: On a roll.
Post by: Outbackbob48 on March 09, 2010, 10:51:03 pm
I don't know what happen but I like it. My last weeks points have all of a sudden got thinner an better notches . Being thin helped the notches plus slowing down. It seems like I go for months an months before I see improvment then one day it just happens. I have still left my self lots an lots of room for improvement ;D Thanks for looking Bob

I had a great knapper tell me that learning this stuff was a series of plateau's. You learn a lot real fast, then it seems that you stop for a long while. Next thing you know...something clicks and you're improving again.
 Good looking point Bob.

Very nice point.  Are you using a pressure flaker for notching or an actual notching tool?

Parnell, I,m using a copper wire flatten out like a small screwdriver, an scrap flakes for abrading inside of notches. Bob
