Title: A bakers dozen...plus one
Post by: FlintWalker on February 21, 2010, 09:49:36 pm
Just finished up these hunting points for Oneeye.   Twelve of them are matched to within less than 10 grains. All of them are made from Sonora/Ky blue except one lonesome Georgetown point.

About half of them are Jesse. It's a little browner than the Sonora, but works and weighs the same.   You gonna be around Pappys this coming weekend?

Tim, I wish I could use a cookie cutter, these took me a little while.    They're all 2.5" long and 15/16ths wide.  Hitting the weight I wanted got pretty easy after the first few. I just kept an eye on the width and length and it seemed that once I had it the right size, the weight was pretty close.  ThenI  fine tuned them with tiny flakes off the sides and deeper flakes from the base.  Overall, their a nicer dozen than the first bunch.

Is a bakers dozen thirteen or what? Cause I counted fourteen?

I reckon it is Paul :-\  Two of 'em came in about 10 grains light, so he got 14 for the price of 12 ;D
