Howdy Group,

The guy in the video talked about his hunting using equipment he built.  But, later in the video, he is shown hunting with an FG laminated recurve, and (I thing) an FG lam. long bow.

So, he sure does try to put on a good front, but he doesn't deliver.

Some people do build their own fg bows.

Fella makes a very relevant point to everyone, however, he was using metal tools (files and a draw knife) to make that self bow, that in itself ruins the "purity" of what he set out to achieve, not my cup of tea I'm afraid. If you want to see something a bit more pure than that i highly recommend you watch this video:

Yeah, I've got that Full Circle DVD, good stuff.
