Got about 20 inches of snow here in Penn. My dad went on a short cottontail hunt with snowshoes. Found one set of fresh sign but that was about it. He was using a quiver i made for him. He did kill a red fox the night before the big storm though, (not bow kill) and a picture showing the deep snow between my pop's snow shoes.

Yep that is a lot of snow, makes for a different kind of a hunt. Where is your picture? We have so much snow here the critters seem to have left. Thanks for the post.

Looks like he needs some bigger snowshoes, sinking in pretty deep.
No need for shoes here you can walk on top of the snow right now.

What kind of bow is your dad equipped with? I ask because it looks like my old Damon Howatt recurve.

thats true hawk, lots of stuff is having trouble moving right now including my dad. ha. and the bow is a browning nomad stalker.
