Title: My last couple of days knappin.
Post by: cowboy on January 19, 2010, 06:16:08 pm
Finally got some quality time in the pit ;). A blade of Edwards, a cohokia of cilicified somethinorother, an afton of Georgetown, and a dove tail from some kay county I got in a trade from Timo. Anybody heard from Timo? I was gonna punch notch that dove tail but it stalled and so did I  ::), decided it looked purty enough and quit. Hopefully more to come...

Yup, steps everywhere Dana. I really don't know how that one didn't break in half with the big flaw running through the upper half.

Yup. Afton, thier in the Overstreet book. I always though they looked cool and meant to make a few some day. Says thier: Middle archaic to early woodland and 2000 to 5000 years B.P.

Dang boy, those are nice!  Hey, if you and Eddie do get together while he is in Texas, put a couple of buckets of your flakes in the back of his truck...... ;D and maybe a couple of nodes of Texas flint...... ;D, and maybe a knife blade or two, and maybe some arrow heads, .,...... ::) Oh, and put my name on the buckets, I don't want him digging through them, taking out the best pieces...... ::)
