I tried my hand at making my own small game head. Next one will probably use a shankless "broadhead" to minimize the potential for bending.
This one uses a .38 special casing that was slotted and a small broadhead was fashioned from an old flatware knife blade. The casing was weighted with #7 lead shot to acieve a 125 grain projectile weight. This was attatched to a Ramin wood dowel shaft with hotmelt glue and artificial sinew to stabilize the blade.
