Title: Small game head
Post by: SSGN_Doc on January 13, 2010, 06:06:33 pm
I tried my hand at making my own small game head.  Next one will probably use a shankless "broadhead" to minimize the potential for bending.

This one uses a .38 special casing that was slotted and a small broadhead was fashioned from an old flatware knife blade.  The casing was weighted with #7 lead shot to acieve a 125 grain projectile weight.  This was attatched to a Ramin wood dowel shaft with hotmelt glue and artificial sinew to stabilize the blade.
