Title: Which side of the bow

           Asking because i don't know!
  What do you go by,to determine which is the belly side or face side of a board bow?Is it the look of the wood,or the straightness of wood?

me,i just look at it to see if it has any bend and use it as reflex
most boards will have some warpage,so i try and use it to my advantage
but you must make sure the grain is good to start with
