Title: leather shirt?
Post by: rattlesnake on December 29, 2009, 07:52:18 pm: would like all input on building a leather shirt/pullover for hunting??

...ideas, patterns, tools/materials, and most of all pics???

..im having two deer hides tanned for project...

Post by: huntertrapper on February 04, 2010, 11:10:29 am: chem. tanned hide is still buckskin. i used it on my shirt. a good leather needle is good along with artificial sinew or just tie the two hides together with leather thongs. you might find also that two deer hides may not be enough to make a sleeved shirt.
