novaculite star earrings  and moon choker. bones are made from hot wings. ;D

beautifull set.  Ok...other than eating the wings, you got to show us how you did those to make that necklace?????????  And don't say a lot of chewing either......lol

thank you. belt sander and my sons tumbler. the one i wear isnt tumbled and is rough. the tumbler polishes the bone so it shines. then i burn the ends for a little color variation.

Far Out and Solid Dude....A Macrame Plant Hanger would be way Kewl....with a Spider Plant hangin down to the Floor....man can Ya make it Tie-Dye too....that would be so bitchin..... :P

Nice stuff!  Who would guess those are from wings.  Is the stone parts knapped?  Also, how did you attach the stones?

Yeah the ornaments are knapped and I used 24 gauge copper wire to attach them

That is what I wondering. Most people will wrap the wire around the item, but in the picture, you can't see the wire at all. I am sure you didn't drill a hole in the stone so did you hot glue it to the back? However you did it is pretty cool cause it doesn't show. Nice!

Small notches at the tip. A clearer pic and it would be visible. Its also why I use the short piece of bone. It hides it. Thanks again. Peace

Cool stuff, Jamie. Now I don't feel so wierd for sneaking out the shells from the mussels I ate at the Chinese buffet to make mother-of-pearl choker discs and buttons...;D
