Title: 4th annual cryo-knapp

hi everyone ;D
well i just got this info in my e-mail

on feb 19th-21st in milaca,mn they will be holding the 4th annual cryogenic knapp in.
it is located 6 miles north of milca,mn on hwy 169
there will be demo's,knapping classes for percussion,slab and lap knapping for beginners to advanced.
ther will also be a ice knapping,frozen dung knapping(lol)
tools and supplies available,ooga booga on saturday night,live band,heated building for knapping.

so anyone in the area should stop in and check it out,i will be ther on saturday for sure(need rock after all  ;D )
last year was my first experience at a knapp in,didnt know what to expect as i just started this at that time.
there were some good knappers thers,some newbies such as myself and then there were sone great knappers there like Jim Redfern.
hope hes there again this time,would like to sit with him and get pointers

Sounds like a good cure for cabin fever.  Wish I was in Mn.

If ice can be knapped, I never want to here Dana bit**ing about not having anything to knapp up ther in da U.P.  ever again.  :D

Yup lots of ice up here in da UP, might go fishing today so if the fish aren't biting I can always knap a few points eh :D

now i hope they dont do the ice knapping on friday,i wont be there untill saturday.
if they do it on the saturday i will get pics,of course
i will get pics of whos all there too,just in case some one is recognizable to ya'll

and if theis ice knapping thing works,well hell me and Dana are gonna have a lot for FAST trades

I keep hearing that this stone or that one will "knap like butter."  I suppose this is the place to find out?  ;)
