Me and another fool went on a rock run around Tallahatta Springs. We got in a creek and felt around on the bottom, then dug through coarse sand to pull up chunks of rock. We were in 3-4 feet of water. Stayed in from 10 till about 4 with breaks to lug buckets up the bank to the truck. We got about 1/2 ton of rock. All was well until the next day. Woke up with my hands tingeling. I had gotten them soft and ground all the tough skin off. My hands are still as soft as a baby's a week later. Bill

I got some Tallahatta quartzite. Actually, Troy got most of it, he has to drive several hours to get down here and then another 45 minutes or so to reach the place where we got the rock. Bill
