Here is a bow that I made from one of David Knight's (KnightD) famous blanks. It is one if his highly reflexed blanks. The bow is 57"NtN and 44# at 27". It is Boo backed Ipe with Ipe and Osage tip overlays. David will have to chime in on the handle wood combo, it has many beautiful exotics. The finish is 6 coats of Tru oil. I haven't chrony'd it yet but it spits out my 480+ gr arrow fast and flat. I'm very pleased with the performance of his design, and how smooth it draws and shoots. Hopefully it will help me get some meat this year. ;D Thanks again David for all your help and answering my endless stream of questions and emails. Thanks for looking.

Sweet looking bow, Rick. I just got another one from David I'm anxious to start. It's thicker so I can get a heavy weight out of it.
-
I'm gonna buy one just to see if I can make it ugly. :o ;D I don't think you can. O:) Real nice finish work Rick! ;)

Thanks for the compliments guys, Anyone interested in a lam bow that doesn't have the time or equipment to do the glue up part, this is the way to go for sure. It is a nice change of pace for those like me that mostly make self bows.
-
You did good on that Rick. Interesting to see how everyone tillers the same blank diferantly. I like the way you tillered this one by the way.
-
Very nice looking bow. What kind of stain did you use on the bamboo?

I used Feibing's Leather Dye. I'm pretty sure the color was Cordovan.
