Hickory core , elm recurve tips , water buffalo horns by Peter Cua from Philiphines , a little sinew , not much. Water snake skin. 4 mm horn 6 mm hickory. I used hide glue. I made bows from one piece of wood in asian style but this is my first horn bow and I have worry , but work very sweet and Im very satisfied O:)

Definately not an average bow, very nice :)

This is a real attention getter and a serious candidate for July Laminate Bow of the Month. Thanks for the good pictures.

-
That is a real quality piece of craftmanship! Great job! ;)

Those bows have always held a great fascination for me, not so much as to want to take on the job of making one, but I have always liked them, and that one is a beauty by any measure! Is the horn put on in sections, with some kind of interlocking joint? Maybe I missed it, but what kind of glue do you use on the horn? Thanks for showing it.

Thanks for the inspiration. I am working on a couple horn composites, but probably won't be done for at least a year. Wish they would turn out as beautiful as yours

Super cool BOW!!! You are a very skillled craftsman, congratulations on an excellent bow.

Great job, Henry. I have made a few horn bows myself, but this one is much better than mine. Great lines and profile, excellent recurve, outstanding job on the snake skin.
