Fine looking points. With only eating weeds and crickets I figured all you would be able to break is that obsidian. ;D

Good lookin' points! Nice to have friends... ;)

Good stuff Jamie! You know most people think that stone points/blades were used primarily to killing and butchering, when actually they were used alot for cutting.harvesting plants.
-
I like ém, Jamie. I bet that raw coral was torture.

nice points ,I really need to buy some georgetown ,I have heard good things about it .
-
That's some fancy stuff Jamie! Bet it was torture - even after working on this raw TX, I'm afraid to tackle raw coral :-X.

thanks guys. i cant get the big blades from coral cause i get stacks in the center. but i dont find it that rough to get points. just gotta hit it like your trying to take a piece of your knee off. :) toughest thing is transitioning to the glass stuff like obsidian and not blowing out the opposite side or driving a piece into my palm.

I've never knapped anything as good as Georgetown and it is also pleasing to the eye. Just remember to use isolated platforms and long flakes are no problem.

man that obsidian is stunning.
great work.
