These all are in different stages of completion. Most are ready for tacks and some sort of handle wrap. I just leave myself open to whatever strikes me at the time I'm working on them . Most are small locust trees with the root ball making the head. The flint pointed one is a min club that I can carry concealed. Think these will give anyone a headache?

Locust roots are cool stuff. We collected them to use for yard art. I never thought of war clubs...but I will look at them differently now. 8)

Yeh, I was taking one finished club to show to the guys at the vet's group that I attend at the Asheville NC VA hospital last week and I got into a fix. The clerk at the mental health check in pushed the button and I had three VA police show up before I got down the hall. I was braced, disarmed, and told in no uncertain terms that war clubs were not allowed on VA grounds. I got my pocket knife and club back by locking them in the bed of my camper. Can't a guy have any fun!!!
