Here are some pictures of my 2yo son and a walnut selfbow I made for him. The other one is a dark walnut backed with sapwood with a maple riser. It blew up after I got a finish on it.

great work. and i just got my little sister to shoot my bow a few times (well not that little of a sister, its a 55 lb bow) and she was hitting inches from the bottle i had set up. always fun to see some one pick it up for the first time.

Man!, that is really cute. Sorry to hear about the other bow.

Hey - how much does that thing pull...I tried my 2.5 yr old on about a 15# fiberglass I had, but it was way, way too hard for him.....

My son's bow is 36" ntn and pulls just under 8# at 19". It's a self bow bend through the handle and basically just one ring thick.
Sorry I would have answered sooner but I just closed on a house and haven't had the time to get on here recently.
