Title: Bowyer in Japan and Korea

Hi,

I maybe planning a trip to Korean or Japan later this year and was wondering if anyone out there have any good contacts to bowyer in the
above two country that build good traditional bows of of bamboo and willing to share and give me some insight on how these bows are made.

Was thinking in line of a bow building session with one of these gurus.

Any contacts or information much appreciated.  ;D ,  Robin

There are some in Korea....You might want find Thomas Duvernay, he knows many Korean bowyer and fletcher there...
For Japan, I dont know anyone, If you wanted to go really into the Japanese craft, I can give you contact information for course with top yumi maker in Japan...though...it will cost you.

Im building bows in Okinawa, but not sure if its close enough for visit~
