With a long string, I beleive I've heard Marc and Steve say that it's about the same at the given draw as a braced bow? That right?

I don't ever measure draw weight with a long string. Actually, I don't use a long string much at all. Just long enough to get to a low brace, and then start to consider weight.

wish I could help u bro... I have no clue..... LOL

keegan, I long string tiller out to 10 inches of string movement when I get target weight or a bit over and good limb movement I string it for the first time with the short string. That puts the potential target weight of the bow at about 10 # over target weight. Plenty for tillering and less likely to cause a catastrophic stringing. More on my site. Jawge
