Two Maple Bows
1st bow is 65 lbs @ 26 inches, 1 1/2" from mid limb to mid limb then tapers to 7/16" nocks.
2nd bow is 60 lbs @ 26 inches, 1 5/8" from quarter limb to quarter limb then tapers to 7/16" nocks.

I love maple for bows! Did you make these out of boards or tree staves?

Very nice bows. What kind of maple are they? Both bookmarked, too, for May Self Bow of the Month

These are both board staves, although the 65 pound bow has a knot on the back of the upper limb that I had to cut around. I then followed on ring down the entire back. And a pin on the edge of the bottom limb that was cut out.
