Title: Draw length increments
Post by: AKAPK on April 24, 2009, 03:07:44 pm
Someone asked me what the draw weight  was at 20 and 24 for my Osage bow and I was wondering is it to measure for stacking?or?
I got about 38@20 and 49@24. Phillip

Phil, I believe it is about 3# to 4# per inch.

Call the guy back and ask him why he asked the question. ;D

I really can't imagine why he would ask....maybe he wanted to compare one of his bows to the bow in question.  If he wanted to see if the bow was stacking, he should have asked you what the draw weight was for every inch up to the max draw length.

Stacking shouldn't be a problem until the string angle approaches 90 degrees :)
