Title: lets do another point swap

I want to collect more points from folks on the board. So far I only have points from hillbilly.

so who is in?
Say all names have to be in by End of April.
All points must be in the mail by end of may? that work?

Let me know. I will collect names if no one else wants to.

End of april I will put all gathered names in a hat. then have my wife pull them out and number them.
Folks will send point to the next person down on the list. last person on list will send point to first person on list.

If you want to have your name on the list more than once let me know.

all points must be in the mail by end of may.

I want to move up the timeline. All names have to be in by end of next weekend on the 26th.

I'll post a picture of the points Jesse made me at the Classic in a day or so. They're AWESOME. That man don't know just how good he is.

If you look at the lower left of the reply window, outside the lower left corner of the box you type the text in, there is a link that says "Additional Options." Click on that and it will open a box that lets you browse to the pic on your computer and attach it to the post. Also, the image needs to be less than 200 kb file size and no more than 640x480 in actual size.

Was making a mammoth butcher blade but ran into a flaw in the rock (ie: fold in the obsidian layers) Broke into three large peices and was able to get a mini-mammoth blade out of it. Think your going to get a kick out of it! Be careful with the edges. I used Billy's sharpening technique :

Also, got a little container made from ???? bark. I've made poplar containers but I think this is different. Also, had two sweet points inside the container: one of cryolite, and one from ????. Very nice points both of em. Thanks a bunch Steve! I'll return the favor one day.

The white spalls are Keokuk, the butterscotch colored one is Flint River/Coastal Plains, green is rhyolite, and the gray is hornstone I think. Container is just thin poplar bark from a small limb. Oh, and the writn's always on the ugly side...;D

I didn't get the chance to work on any points at our rendezvous., just to busy and since getting back I've been working on reducing some rock that Blacktail gave me. He gave me some nice big spalls and I've just about got them all reduced ::) :'( It's amazing have many small pieces you can get from those big ones ::)

However My reducing is getting much better. I'm now convinced that I can reduce any nice size rock into a pile of tiny tiny points ::) :'( ::)

Also have got some incredible points in the mail lately and will get pics up soon. Been fairly busy lately and have'nt spent much time on the home front.
