takedown recurve--riser black walnut with jatoba& bamboo overlays,limbs-brazilian cherry center core,cummaroo, bamboo back and belly,epi wedges ,tip overlays-jatoba&blackwood ......58"groove to groove ,61#@28"       robustus

While I really don't care for the looks of the square'ish blocky riser, the stuff your able to pull off with just natural materials is nothing short of amassing James. Great work.  :)

Beautiful James. It is amazing what you can do with natural materials.

thanks fellers, it took me a while to figure this one out.im really happy with it ,it shoots super and pretty darn fast too ....im trying to finish my all wood horsebow ,i just havent had the time.but when im done with it i will post it...thanks again   james

Very nice! Reminds me of my old Bighorn except yours doesn't have any fiberglas in it. I bet it is a performer!

Ive seen some of James' bows in person and I can assure you they are OUT OF MY LEAGUE  :o. There is no way I could go down in my basement workshop and come out with that bow. Maybe some day :) Again outstanding work James.
