Title: Don't give up!

Ed, After reading a about a bow building failure by fellow wood bow builder this poem came to mind....

You'll find when making bows of wood
with all the things you know
that even though you've tried your best
you really never know

but if you take it as defeat
with all the things you know
the bow you want to build yourself
you'll really never know

so get back up and try again
with all the things you know
another stave, a few more hours
and you will have your bow!

nice poem Pat, when I don't suceed with a bow I just make someting else from it.
