Title: I just got a stave.

It didn't look like much but with a little layering it should be a huntable bow. Plus the wood has already been professionally cured hence the fact I'm a beginner.

what type of bow did you have in mind?

Hickory I think. I'm making it a little shorter than my glass bow Also I was thinking about layering it with another stave since the wood's a bit weak.
