Looks real nice. Tiller looks good.  How wide are your limbs for a 64" hickory bow? How much set did she end up taking?

Those recurves were really somthing, :o but sometimes there is real beauty in a clean longbow as well.  Great job on that Hick.

When kept good and dry, hickory can make an outstanding bow...such as yours for instance. :)

Ryan, primitive archery isn't all about fancy and shiny. That's a perfect hunting bow right there-the meat and potatoes of what we do. We all like chasing recurves and fancy finishes sometimes, but that kind of bow there is hard to beat as an all-around shooter, and pretty much boils down the essence of our affliction.

Nothing special? How can a well-tillered bow like this weapon not be special. Very nice. And bookmarked for January Self BOM.
Where's your hat?

I've killed 3 whitetails this year with a bow very similar to this w/ 2 inches of set and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's a simple utility bow and gets the job done. Sometimes simple and basic are hard to beat.

Great looking bow!

Tracy
