okay 3rd set (is this okay?, or i set per person?)

+ or - 60 grains because of 1 light arrow this time, go figure
green dyed sitka spruce, steel 125 gr. blunts, flu-flus. 29 1/2 in (longer in case of overdraw since these are meant to be ariel arrows)
despite the pics the nocks are yellow. they're also "nirk nocks"
sealed with Johnson's paste wax
Enjoy!

Thanks Zander...and yes, three entries is fine.  There's actually no rule for number of entries. ;D

here's my contribution to the "Best Arrow Set" show room.  the first set is japanese arrow bamboo with wood nocks and stone points.  the points are attached with pitch and sinew.  the feathers are wrapped with silk.  they weigh in between 500 - 575gr.

the second set is made of privet stained with poke berry juice.  they are self nocked and the feathers are wrapped with silk.  these are heavy weights, 750-800gr.  i debated about putting stone point on the ends, but ended up using ww's.  both were sealed using my special blend of bees wax and olive oil.  enjoy!

very cool, but why the "only set" that you're gonna make?

Zander

Thanks every one,
They are not the only that I will ever make but the only set I have made. I have alot more dogwood shoots and will cut more this winter.

I like to look at other peoples arrows when I need ideas on decorating or building arrows. What would be really nice is for everyone to post pictures of their arrows with a brief description of what they are. We could keep it as a reference to come back and look at when we need to feel inspired.  We wouldn't post any other comments, just make it a photo album for reference.  Justin

That is a great idea Justin! I always find myself searching for pics of arrows for inspiration when it's time to build. I will take some pics of a few different styles of arrows of mine and we will start this photo album thread.
