Gordon has been kind enough to share with me some suggestion and ideas on my latest Boo bow.......enjoy
51.5 NTN, bend in handle D bow, after shooting and unstrung keeps 2" reflex (after 30 mins keeps 2.5 reflex) 28lbs at 24", nice wippy bow. similar to my other boo bows i have built, 2 lams back boo, belly boo.
unlike the other boo bow, this one , i kept the backing at only 1/8 thick, belly at the middle is 6mm tapering to 3 mm at the tips
I felt that in my previous bows, i keep the thickness of the backing and the belly the same.........this may be the cause for the belly boo crystalising after shooting in after 150-200 shots. So far this bow belly is holding up.............
