TURKEYS

Well it's huntin' season just about everywere,so I hunted me up a peice of hornstone and banged a turkey(tail) out of it.Only had a photo to go by so not sure about what the size,etc.should be.For a first time try I think it turned out OK

Nice tail. I'd make me a spear out of it and ambush some real turkeys! What kind of rock is that, flint or chert? Whatever it is it's damned good for a first time try  :o

Just banged ya one out right quick huh ;D? Ain't it nice when you get to that point of comfort, when you've done so many that it almost becomes routine, hehehe. That is one nice turkeytail! Like the banding in that hornestone - I've never tried it before. Is it slick raw or is that heat treated?
