On the last day of the east-side Rendevouz a flight shoot is held. Bryan Bryand (a west-sider) won this spring's shoot with an excellent selfbow that he had crafted from hazelnut (with a little guidance from yours truly

). Since then a friendly competition has developed between the west and east and I fully expect that the east-siders will be lying in wait at the next get-together.
Fair enough Keenan, we'll limit our competition bows to those that were fashioned from west-side wood
