This was the first yew selfbow that I've attempted so I didn't quite know what to expect. The width is 1 1/4" at the fades tapering evenly to 1/2" at the tips. It's 7/8" deep at the fades tapering to 1/2" at the tips. I've always been a little envious of those folks with yew longbows and now I finally have one for my own that I can take to shoots. I have to admit that while I'm still a vine maple aficionado, yew makes a pretty darn nice selfbow.
