Made a couple this weekend. Steve they are on the way on monday! Ones an obsidian Ishi and the other is a Great Basin style point. (Never can remember the name of it!)  ;D

  Wow,,, What a beauty,,, I think I'd be able to bring down  T Rex  with this one.   Very nice Roger.  The flaking is excellent and love the color. We definitely don't have anything around here like that.  Thank you.
 
 Hillbilly, I've got your mammoth blade roughed out.   It's not quite 48" but will probably work for hunting Bigfoot. ;D     Anyone ever try napping slate ;D  Just kidding of-coarse    Keenan

Roger, Nice looking Coral, Newnan Point. Where are you at down here? I have some of that same colored, heat treated, Coral I got from Claude Van Order.

Thanks for the kind words keenan,glad you enjoy it.I'm sure you have some great rock out there,might have to talk trade.Mullet I live close to Lemon Bay south of Venice.I got that coral off of JC,there's nothin' down here but sand and shell.I love watching Claude work ,makes it look easy,a true craftsman.I'm working on a knife now out of some white coral I got off Jeff.Were are you located?

 I live in Lakeland about 3 miles from Claude. I've heard Claude talk about somebody from that area that has come up here before. Must have been you. Hope we can get together one day.

That is a fine looking point Bone pile and out of that tough to knap coral. I'm going to attack that big one you sent me Eddie as soon as I feel up to the task ;D.

 Paul you can tell by the color, that coral is heat treated. then it's almost as easy as heat treated Novaculite.

Eddie: I'm going to spall around on that peice and see what I get out of it. If It's not satisfactory I'll cook it - hopefully some deer and hawgs will come of it :).
