Archery is good excercise!!

My wife has been after me to walk more.   Well, an old buddy gave me one arrow today, so that's better than yesterday, when I didn't have any!   So, here's the drill: 

Shoot arrow

Walk to retrieve arrow

Walk Back

Shoot arrow

Repeat several dozen times. 

My Wife's gonna love this new hobby of mine.

Shoot at 60 yards 15 times, and you'll have walked over a mile. Shooting a 50# bow, and you'll have lifted over 700# in "weight".

Archery is defiantely good exercise ;D!

Caber tossing is good exercise....but I have to be honest there is a lot to be said for grabbing a quiver full of blunts and walking up and down mountains chasing pinecones, cans, and the occasional rabbit... ;D

i know another good form of excersize, just cant discuss it hear cause this is a family friendly site >:D

I tried golf as excercise...all I excercised was my vocabulary!  Golf is just the word "flog" spelled backwards as far as I can tell. 

Now I hear some folks on the west coast play a form of archery golf....hmmm, lemme see, longbow for a driver, then a shorter flatbow for chipping, and a Lakota horsebow for the putt.  Oh yeah, I gotta try this!

i used to shoot blunts,out of my blow gun,at my kids and their friends. it was a blast and they seemed to like it too. go figure

Blunts hurt though ;D. Even a kid's bow, caught on the elbow, smarts pretty badly. Who'd have imagined that one?
