You could steam and reflex the handle a few inches, and make yourself a dandy little reflex-delfex double curve. That's what I'd do.

I've only used osage so I can't speak about Hickory, but you still get some set on unbacked bows. I like to hang them up and look at them as much as shooting them
and I like to see them straight. I'm in agreement move on to the next bow and put reflex in next time.  I know I sure had some bad set in bows just chalked it up to experience.     Dismount
