As wallynosocks was saying, you do physically "pay" for shooting that sorta weights. My shoulders crak and creak in the morning, and my left shoulder/neck is a virtual "lump" of muscle, where as the right is nothing by comparison. And I'm barely 17 and jsut shooting 75-80#

I can't hunt with a bow over about 60 my shoulder pops and would scare all the deer away. It sounds like a 22 short going off. I do like to shoot heavier bows but I always feel it. They make my hunting bows feel that much more pleasant.
