3-fingers under..... aerial shooting
« on: September 23, 2008, 03:55:43 am »
Hello,

I come from Slovenia and I am new on the forum. I shoot 3 fingers under. Now I would like to try to shoot some flying targets ( discs, bottles...),
What do you think, is there any difference to shoot flying targets with 3 under release or split finger release.
Is there someone that shoot aerial targets with 3 finger under release?

Kind regards!

Luka

Hello,

Thank you for welcome greetings. I have already found some interesting topics in PA forum. Currently my bow is modern longbow for 3-d competitions ( bowhunting is illegal in our country). I also make and shoot primitive flat bow, inuit bow for fun.

No reason why you coulnd't so long as yuor nocks don't fall off the string (and most plastic nocks prevent that anyhow). Only reason I could see.

Lisjak, I find for me that there is no difference in split or 3 under. I consistently miss with either and occasionally miss enough to hit something ;D. If you practice with 3 under and are comfortable shooting like that then go for it. Welcome aboard!
