Thanks burnt hill - getting too much string follow-those tiller posts will help. I think the tiller tool (in "build-alongs" somewhere?) october sunrise mentioned was the most helpful thread. I have a book (HOB) with the rest of the basics in it, but seeing many different approaches has also been helpful.
