oak & bamboo long bow
« on: September 15, 2008, 10:47:57 pm »
New to the forum just joined. I'm working on my first bow. It's going to be oak and bamboo, as soon as the bamboo gets here. Any hints would really help.

Yes take Dads advice and also remember that the Boo has to be thin....to make sure that it doesn't overpower the Oak Back.....

keep it slow, every bow i have tried to rush to make has come in under weight with other issues like hinges etc.
patience is a virtue, that saying  was meant for bowiers
