After that there was a lot of banter that went back and forth with a lot of friends, while I put the finish and dressing on "Hannah Holmi" and got her ready for her "coming out". (I love shooting her, BTW)

After a little more sanding, more "shooting in", getting brace height and nock point finalized, etc Hannah came out 40# @ 26" , 66" ntn

.........................................................................................

Then on 09/14 (yesterday) I made the final compleation posting below -

I put a couple of coats of wax on Hannah Holmi (over the Polypro finish), and a black leather handle wrap (for now at least, I am using the top of the handle wrap as the arrow pass, and shooting off my hand - and she is performing well that way). So, here are a string of compleated (finally) pics for your consideration.

Side view (there is an "arrow" like that on both sides):

At Brace - standing and on ground:

At Brace, in Hand:

At Full Draw:

(Saga finished - even if not "ended" -  :D)

Thank you for looking and being patient with my weird way of doing things -  ;D

Thank you so very much Don, Phil, and Zander. I was really wondering how the condensing would come out for others - thanks for saying that.

I wish my holmie had come out so well. It looks pretty good and probably shoots just as well!

Can we vote early for BOM? This is, indeed, a winner.

Thank you adb, that means a lot to me, coming from you. I was hoping you would respond because I want you to know that your "How To" thread (in that forum, here on PA) had a great deal to do with Hannah. I got the majority of my initial plans and "kick-off" from reading that teutorial - over - and over. I referred back to it often. I've also advised a couple or more others, who asked me,  along the way, to look it up. Thank you, again.

Before I do one again, though, I want to borrow your nice bandsaw. You think they'll let us shuttle it back and forth across "The Border", without tarrif either way -  ;)
