George you are so right and I find myself just looking at the tiller, and not listening to what the wood is
telling me. I think part of that is when we post pictures we want the tiller to be photogenic ::) With this
one I didn't go for arc of circle tiller but want the stiff tips. Its 47# and outshoots any other bow I've made regardless
of their draw weight.

Lennie I cut that stave you sent me in half and got 2 nice staves from it ;D The wife has called dibs on the other one :(
I will have tons of sinew this winter once more so if ya need more just holler eh ;)

Wowzers Dana!! Nice one. I like the tiller you gave it and the skins do look like you knew what you were doing. As far as string follow I dont see any. I also like those tips.
I gotta get to my osage. Right after the maple and hickory ;D Havnt made a hunting weight osage yet. I have big plans for one with snake skins and all. Youve got me inspired to get started soon.                               Jesse

I think your being a little too critical about the tiller.. I think it looks great, and I like stiff outer limbs myself.
   Good job my friend! ;)
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Great job Dana! That bow looks great, the skins, handle and tips all look great together on that yellow wood.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your compliments :)

Ryano Osage is good wood no doubt but I believe a character bow from white wood is more diffuct to make
and can perform just as good or better with the proper design.
