Lookin' good.  Sounds like you got lots of material to practice on.  For me, 65# of rock will make about three points.   ;D

A forge aye?  Sound like me, I dabble in a little bit of everything.   ;)

  They look a lot better than my first ones. Use your abrading stone some more and it will help you run longer flakes.

I had to sacrifice an old 6" grinding wheel for an abrader, but it works great.  I can tell a big difference.

oush inwards towards the center of the rock instead of down you will get nice long flakes.
