So that's the piece of maple you were telling me about a while back. I thought you said it was ugly   Ain't nothing ugly about that piece of maple! I believe you could make a tobacco stick look good

Thanks guys. It was sort of challenging to tiller with the bumps making thick and thin places through out the limbs.
Dana, It is fun. Wish I had more time to build them, I would love to make one for a few people around here and yes guys she does know what she's doing...... She just out grew her old bow so to speak....it was only like 30# and she was having trouble shooting longer distances with it. Plus her old bow didnt have a arrow shelf, this should be easier for her to shoot.

Cool I love it. How did you reflex the tips? Dry heat or steam? Im working on a maple and was thinking of reflexing he tips a bit.

Sweet looking bow Ryan!

Ryan, a tobacco stick is used to hang tobacco up in a barn while it's being "fired" and is drying. Usually around six stalks to a stick, and most sticks I've seen are out of oak. I'm sure you could make a shooter out of one!
