I am encouraged.  I've not had the best luck with ash but may give it another try because this one is a beauty.  Love the nocks too.

Nice tiller and a great broomstick profile unstrung, all in a small package with a heavy wallop.  Quarter "sawn" split?

Yeah, I took a narrow stave split and turned it sideways.  First in  a series of these I'm making to give to some indians.

looks excellant Dave! You must have dried her out right - no set. I like Ash, got more to work with - need to get on it :).
